Support and after sales service for your software is essential.

  • Pro-active support (not just reactive) - all of our systems need a broadband Internet connection - if a problem happens with the software a message is sent straight to the support engineers desktop. They can then investigate the issue and effect a solution usually without the owner even calling the support line. Basically the software contains its own trouble shooting routine that continually inspects all aspects of your program and database. This means fault finding and problem fixing is far easier.
  • The software is written and developed here in the UK.
  • The support desk is manned by software engineers here in the UK who are involved in writing the software - this means they can give you tier 1 support.
  • The software is continually being improved and updated with help and input from customers. These updates improvements are uploaded to your system on a daily basis.
  • A fault that may happen on a customers machine is naturally corrected - but then the cause of the problem is investigated and a repair patch is sent to all customers machines the next morning.
  • Quality support and continual behind the scenes improvement is at the heart of this software package - the purchase is only the beginning of the process - not the end like most EPOS companies.
  • We can offer quality UK based software support contracts for a site (not per terminal) from just £ 10 + Vat / month

Things to watch look for with Software Support

  • We do not offer “free Support”. Many of our customers have found that “free Support = No Support”. That is why they come to join us. You get what you pay for - get a contract and pay for it then you know you have cover
  • Many EPOS companies buy cheap software from outside the UK and while the company may know how it works ( print reports / change a till roll etc) the problem comes if there is a software fault (database corruption)- they will not be able to repair it with out referring to the software house often in India
  • With software support watch out for cheap / discounted equipment prices but expensive support fees. This is more like a hire purchase agreement that can last for years and cost you a lot of money. We are always happy to offer finance sts if needed.
  • Pay for support by the site not by the terminal - what if you need to upgrade and add extra terminals?
  • Are your support calls routed through a call handling center - your calls may be answered instantly 24 hours a day but a support engineer will not call back for many hours or even days.
