- Hard Drive Size - the larger the hard drive capacity the longer the cctv footage can be stored before the data is overwritten
- Frame Rates- The faster the frame rate the machine can handle the better the real time display and record quality will be
- Picture Quality- Some machines will provide better picture quality than others in different circumstances
- Compression Technology - the better the data is compressed to the hard drive the longer the hard drive will last before over writing
- Ports Numbers - the more the ports you have on the machine the more the cameras you can attach
- Audio- Some customers require an audio facility
- Case type- machines can be built into cube, tower, rack or micro cases depending on circumstances
- Back Up Devices - machines can have CD-RW, DVD-RW, Zip, USB hard drives, USB pen drives, floppy drives, tape drives. These are used to store data of events to take to the authorities
- Operating Systems - we sell machines will both Windows and Linux Operating Systems. The type of O/S chosen depends on the final usage of the machine (multipurpose PC as well as CCTV machine).
