The Entry Level DVR1 Frame Grabber Card
will turn your PC into a professional Digital video Recorder for a budget price. The card comes with all necessary drivers, software package and full instructions to get you up and running really fast. The card has four camera ports but by adding extra cards into your computer you can increase this to a max of 16 camera ports.
The software supplied allows you to view all 4, 8 or 16 (depending on cards used) of your cameras on a split screen at the same time or with full screen on just one camera or with one main camera with the other cameras as thumb nails.
The recordings can be for 24/7 or just when the software detects motion. A pre-alarm feature allows you to record several seconds before an event occurs. The play back software allows you to play individual events from an easily used utility.
The card does not take over the computer and will work in the background allowing you to get on with other jobs.
The software will record to the hard drive in AVI file format allowing the images to be played on Windows Media player on any PC. Therefore you can burn images to a CDR, or other portable storage devices for back up or use by the Police etc
